What is MariaDB?  Imprimeix aquest Article

What is MariaDB?

MariaDB Server is an enhanced drop-in replacement for MySQL. Your queries will run faster and more consistently. With Maria we can consolidate servers on powerful hardware, delay sharding, or avoid it entirely.

MariaDB streamlines the MySQL engine of dynamic Linux PHP websites so the overall impact is more power, less overhead and better uptime.

Unlike other companies that host their database on the same server as the web server, at AtomicVPS, we have dedicated database servers to improve performance.

How do I connect to MariaDB?

Please use database server "192.168.12.5" your applications to MariaDB.

What if my previous host used localhost?

For any applications (ie. PHP) that depend on MySQL, please change "localhost" to "192.168.12.5" in the application configuration.
