How to create a cron job in cPanel?  Print this Article

 

Cron jobs are scheduled tasks which completes a task in the specified time automatically. To create cron jobs, follow the below steps.


  1. Login to your cPanel.

  2. Under Advanced tab, click on the Cron Jobs icon.

  3. If required update your email address by clickin on Update Email button.

  4. Specify the basic settings like time settings.

  5. In the input box of Command, give the file type and path of the file which you want to run.

  6. Click on Add New Cron Job button to complete.
