How to enable root access to dedicated virtual servers?  Print this Article

Root access is not enabled by default for dedicated virtual servers, but you can enable it in your admin panel. To enable root access, follow the below steps.

1. In the admin panel, go to Domains tab.
2. From the drop down list, select Root Access & Developer Tools.
3. Click on Enable Root Access icon.
4. Give a strong password and click Change to complete.
