How to enable or disable hot linking?  Print this Article

 

To enable or disable hot linking, follow the below steps.


  1. Login to your cPanel.

  2. Click on HotLink Protection icon.

  3. In the form, add the domains you want to protect in the box "URLs to allow access", if you don't add your domain name, even your websites can not view your files.

  4. In the next box, give the files extensions which you want to protect.

  5. It is recommended to select "Allow direct requests"

  6. Click on Submit to complete.
