Why do I get a "Forbidden: PHP engine is disabled." message? Print this Article

If your PHP scripts are returning "Forbidden: PHP engine is disabled." error message, please check to make sure that PHP support is being run as Apache module.

Login to your Plesk panel.

Go to Websites & Domains tab.

Click Hide Advanced Operations to expand the options.

Click on Website Scripting and Security.
-
Check the PHP support option if not already checked.
-
Select Apache module in the run as option field.
-
Click OK.
