Solution An example error:

The host 'yourdomain.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'mail.yourdomain.com', Server: 'yourdomain.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

This usually indicates some form of DNS issue. Please check your domain is resolving okay and has not expired. You can still use the server IP for POP and SMTP servers and connect that way.
