Transfer Per Month

Data that is sent or received from the server. This includes data transmitted by hits/traffic to websites, email and files uploaded via FTP.

Subdomains

Subdomains are additional domains based on the main hosted domain (example: something.domain.com). You can use subdomains to host separate elements of your websites such as a forums, member areas, etc. You can divide this Subdomain account limit between your domains.

The number of individual email accounts that can be setup on the hosting plan such as you@yourdomain.com. Email inboxes can be accessed via webmail, POP3, SMTP and Imap.

You can forward your mail to any other mailbox.

Mailing Lists

Set up Mailing Lists so you can email alot of people at that same time. We also support Mail Groups where email can forward to email address you specify.

Horde WebMail

Check your mail from anywhere using Horde webmail. Webmail is available at "webmail.yourdomain.com".

Catchall Mailbox

A Catch-all mailbox is an antiquated function but for some crazy reason some people like to catch mail to non-existent users. If you like spam (and lots of it) you can enable this function. :)

AntiVirus Scanning

You can also enable Virus Scanning of your mail. Highly recommended!

ODBC (Open Database Connectivity)

This is an API that allows the usage of SQL queries with data sources such as Access. It uses drivers for particular data sources to communicate and interact with them. It is necessary, for instance, to use an ODBC connection to communicate with an Access database from a website hosted on a Windows platform.

ASP.NET

A Microsoft server-side Web technology. ASP.NET takes an object-oriented programming approach to Web page execution. Every element in an ASP.NET page is treated as an object and run on the server. An ASP.NET page gets compiled into an intermediate language by a .NET Common Language Runtime-compliant compiler. Then a JIT compiler turns the intermediate code to native machine code, and that machine code is eventually run on the processor. Because the code is run straight from the processor, pages load much faster than classic ASP pages, where embedded VBScript or JScript had to be continuously interpreted and cached.
