Payment and Billing
It would be nice to get an email to notify me that you will be taking money out of my CC...
Other companies offer email notices.... why not hostnexus?
Please notify account department that in future I don't want to be surprised...  and a 24 hour notice by email would be a more professional approach... thanks

You've been a client for 8 years and this is a feature we've never had. If you have a hosting account you have a subscription, no exceptions. You need to be aware of when that subscription recurs.

Yes I am aware when payment is due... however, this year you billed me in at the end of April not in May as you have done in the past... still believe some sort of notification would be more courteous

Billing is entirely automatic and subscription terms and renewal dates are set when you create the subscription so maybe this was a new subscription with a different renewal date.

Billing and accounts has always been the weakest part of HostNexus. ElvisFan is quite right that it is unprofessional not to send notices at the time of renewal.
This morning, I found the domain I have as part of my HostNexus account was not working. Going in to HostNexus Domains, I found that it said it expired yesterday and I would have to pay $12.95 to reactivate it. It's supposed to be included as part of my hosting account. Of course, they sent no notice at all about this.
HostNexus is great technically. Accounts, however, is poor. It needs to be brought up to the level of the technical side.

One day it will happen. Until then we just rely on automatic recurring payments from PayPal and WorldPay.
As for your domain it must have been a special deal for you as the plan doesn't come with a domain. In these cases clients must contact us for the renewal of their domain as the domain is in their NexusDomains account.

Laurence, the plan I upgraded to did come with a domain. That's why I decided to add billsamuel.net. I can't check the current specs for the plan because it is not shown on your site. It may have been one of those monthly plans you used to have. The most expensive shared Linux hosting plan you show on your site now is $99.95 a year, and mine is $129.95, so obviously it includes more than anything you show.

I show you as being on a nexusFOUR which is a current plan. We also have the nexusFIVE at $174.95/yr.
