I;m also on aplpha. I just went in and marked about 7 emails as spam. My configuration is supposed to add "Spam" to the subject line. I also got the
Messages learned count of: 0 as spam, 0 as non-spam, 0 total.

My preferences are to not delete the email but add "SPAM" to the Subject line. In any case I just downloaded my mail via pop3, using Explorer Express. None of the email I just designated as spam came through with the altered subject heading>>

Thanks,
Russ

As I've said a few times...it doesn't work like that. When you train the emails it doesn't suddenly and magically alter the subject line. It learns them and th einfo is recorded in its db for future reference. Learning just 7 spams will not help you. You need to learn at least 15 spams AND hams.

This message:

"Messages learned count of: 0 as spam, 0 as non-spam, 0 total. "

Is Plesk generated and as yet we don't know where it's pulling the variables from but are looking at that. And the set to delete option is not yet working. Those are the only issues we can see.

Hopefully the counts can be fixed...I know I've done probably 100 bad ones already, but I have no idea how many good ones since they are rather rare

It isn't working at all on Alpha, no matter how much training I do. Nothing is getting marked as spam and I'm not talking about the counts.

Agreed....I've been training all morning and I know I marked at least 15 hams by now and still not working...there is no sign that it is even scanning at all beyond emails appearing on the training page

It can take a few days, and far more than 15 trains are required, but if your convinced it's not working it could be an Alpha thing so raise a ticket?

Am I misunderstanding, or in fact will the filter not work on a mailbox that gets mostly spam because the training needs to include a certain number of "hams"?
