Script List Auto Updates

The script list itself is now a script and is set to auto update every week. Previously, this was a manual task, but has been automated to hopefully reduce any errors.

Along with the automatic weekly updates to the script list, there is now an RSS feed for the script list.

Working to make this more user friendly. Upcoming items include the creation of a backup prior to updating.

This will allow for the comparison of version information from backup file to newly created file, to show whether the script version is newer. If so, there will be an updated message attached to the script on the script list.

This feature should be available on the next script list update on Sunday. The updated status will be reflected for one week.

This is now working as expected. The RSS version also reflects which have been updated. Feel free to add this as a live bookmark in FireFox or in your favorite RSS news reader.

Well this feature seems to have been short lived as several scripts were pulling their information from SourceForge. Unfortunately SourceForge has removed many features and rearrange the version listing to show the oldest first instead of the newest (which made more since). Until further notice, this will be reverted back to the old manual update system.

Inspite of the changes to sourceforge, I was able to get things working again (for the time being at least). So, the auto script list is now back.

The script list did not update last Wednesday, August 19th. This has been remedied.

Seeing some issues with 3 scripts which are keeping the auto updates from happening. Temporarily removing those scripts from the list and working on a solution to be able to add them back in. The scripts are phpBB, HelpCenter Live, and Drupal.
