Thumbs down Plesk timeouts - reseller discussion

I was learning to 'hate' it on Iota, but now Eta now has upgraded, all I can say is that the timeout is a pain in the butt!

I am working from both servers continually for my customers and having to log on ALL the time is far too time consuming especially when it takes forever for the log on screen to appear then the control panel.

I do not have the luxury of ADSL like many others and on a 56K modem the delays when many are obvioulsy doing the same does slow down your productivity.

Please remove the timers! You did not have them with Plesk 5 and was there a problem with not having timers then?

Generally just asking them nicely and they will bump them up to 30 minutes (gotta have some limit).

Already did that for Iota. It should not be something we have to ask for - it should be automatic.

Yes, Laurence (when you read) I am having one of those bad customer days, bad computer days and time outs are not helping me get through my workload today.


Please make it automatic for all servers as a matter of convenience for all.

I checked them all and did everything to 30 mins.

Just tested it. Didn't log me out after 25 minutes so I'm guessing the 30 mins is true.

IMHO- if you aren't doing anything for more than 30 minutes, you're wasting an connection.
