Reseller Plans

I would like to start a business designing, building and hosting web sites, and want to learn more about HostNexus and the plans you offer.

Regarding the March special offer for $275.95/yr:
1. Does that include FrontPage extensions?
2. I can setup 100 domains, www.company1.com, www.company2.com, etc...? How does this work?
3. Is this deal renewable after 1 yr?

I have a couple of new accounts with another hosting company, but haven't built websites yet. How long would it take to transfer these accounts/domain names and what is the process?

Do you have a toll free phone number?

Thanks for the help!

Greg

You can set up 100 domains on that plan. It's very simple through the control panel.

Yes, it most certainly is.

Transferring domains is done at your registrar. Simply change nameserver info and wait for DNS propagation - 12-36 hours.

Coming this week!

If you have any more questions, please post away.

When I opened the account with the other host, the domain was part of the package, so I'm a little fuzzy on the registrar part. Do you offer a transfer service or recommend a registrar? Also, is there a fee to transfer? What do resellers with 50+ accounts do in cases like this?

For new customers that need new domains, as a reseller, should I register these in their names or mine? I know these are novice questions, but that's where I am right now. Maybe they will help someone else too.

Hi,

Of course we recommend a registrar, us! We charge $12.95/yr for domains and the proceedure is quite simple. Just go to http://domains.hostnexus.com and search for a domain, find one then pay. Then you're taken back to a page to enter your personal details and nameservers.

If you have a reseller account, you will have your own nameservers so everytime you register a name you just enter those details. Alot of clients will come to you with their own names so you just direct them to point their names to your nameservers in the welcome email.

If they need domains, charge them what you like and sign them up here or at another registrar.

toll free phone #

Although I have not needed it, the toll free number makes me feel better. I have gotten quick and good feed back on this forum and in chat. One of the things that mad me a little nervous about Hostnexus at first was its lack of phone support. I am sure others may feel this way too.

Keep up the good work!

Sure is. As soon the Aussie government pull their finger out and give me my visa I will be there. The nod should be given any day now and I'm expecting to be there April 22nd-28th.

Chris is busy setting up the new HostNexus office with hardware and everything else. Their will be toll-free support there and new support staff too.

HostNexus is truly exploding and our service will just get better and better.

Hey NexDog,
I have a friend who was an Attache at the Austrailian Consulant in Hong Kong when I lived there. I think he's back in the MotherLand now. I'll give him a call.

I'm sure he can delay you another 6 months or so .
