Pricing models, limits etc

Do we realize that the pricing models and limits on our accounts are now extremely "out of date"???

7G disk space
75G transfer

on a reseller package

VS

50G disk space
2000G transfer

for the same price??? And this would be a VPS (I won't name the company, but there are quit a few with roughly the same pricing / limits)

I love HostNexus, but perhaps it is time to revisit some of the hosting packages and/or look at our account limits...

Just have to second that. I don't want to switch, and don't plan to, as of now. But other folks offer a *lot* more disk space. Eventually, I'll *have* to.

Yep, everything is being reworked and will be released along with the new site. The new site is designed and coded and I just need to spend a few weeks cleaning it up. I won't be going the Unlimited road unless HN gets ALOT bigger and can absorb the issue such hosting will generate. We have VPSes now too. And lots of other stuff. 2009 should be interesting.

We were told a number of months ago that higher limits for hosting packages were coming soon, and now we're told a few weeks. These things almost always wind up take a lot longer than predicted. Why must the new limits await a redesigned site? I know you've said that if we go over the current limits, you won't actually charge us, but it would be better to know what the limits are and not get notices about going over limits.

I sent to Sales, and they promptly upgraded my account. Then they sent it to Accounts. Accounts said they couldn't find my account. Don't you have a common database on client accounts? I really don't understand why Sales had no problem locating my account, but Accounts couldn't. Maybe some improvements are needed on the administrative side.
