Mailman List error

I set up a Mailing List in Plesk for a client. The list has about thirteen email addresses (various domains like @yahoo.com etc.) It seemed to work for her for a while but on the last mailing she got this message (below) in ten separate emails for ten separate email addresses. In other words, almost the full list of addresses had this bounce message.

This is a Mailman mailing list bounce action notice:

List: Teachers
Member: somebody@gmail.com
Action: Subscription disabled.
Reason: Excessive or fatal bounces.

Any idea what might be causing this and if there is a remedy?

Not sure. One possibility may be that systems are treating her messages as spam. This could cause "fatal bounces" in which the receiving system might not actually send bounce messages so she would not have known of the problem previously. She should probably check with those for which she got the bounce messages about whether they got the last prior message. If they didn't, this idea is a good possibility. If they did, this outcome of the current mailing would not make any sense to me.

I ave a client complaining about MailMan errors on Espilon too. Have you raised a ticket? (I wasn't sure if it was user error - but now I assume it's server error...but as the entire server appears not to be responding there could be an underlying mail issue?)

Thanks for mentioning that. I did raise a ticket, and HN support "re-enabled" it. It's working now. I don't know if that's for the whole server. I suspect it is.
