Setting up an email list only I can send to

Hi all,

I want to setup an email list o send emails to all my clients in one hit, but obviously I dont want them to email to the list ... If they reply to the email I want that reply to either bounce or come to me only.

Any suggestions on the best way to do this?

Thanks in advance!

How many clients? - If you're talking a couple of hundred, then you should be able to just put all the addresses on the BCC line of the email. This has the advantage that you're not letting everyone on your list see your full client list!

If you're dealing with more than say 500 addresses, then I'd look at using a dedicated solution like www.jangomail.com

Use mail sending software such as Dada Mail:

James,

I may be misunderstanding you but I have a mailing two list set up on different accounts using our reseller default mailing list program in Plesk, Mailman, and I am the only one who can send messages. You can set this up in the *Privacy Options >> Sender Filters* sections of the Admin panels.

I have it set up where no one, registered members to list or not, can actually send (post) to the list. If they try to it is bounced back to me (the admin), or discarded.

Also in the *Privacy Options >> Recipients Filters you need to put a *1* in the *Ceiling on acceptable number of recipients for a posting* as then if you have more than one email on your list then it will require admins approval before its sent to the others on the list. So anyone that tries to post will have to be moderated by the admin "you" before its sent and you can set that to just discard the submission.

I hope this helps,

-Danny Davis
