AWStat - how to access last month?

I just switched one of my clients to AWStats. When I go to www.domain.com/webstat I just see the current month data. Is it possible to retrieve last months report?

Found this on a site, but it doesn't seem to work for me here. Give it a try and see if it works for you:

http://example.com/webstat/?year=2006&month=09

Mike. Thanks for the suggestion.

I just turned on AWStats last month so I tried to pull up a file this way:
http://example.com/webstat/?year=2007&month=03

It seems that AWStats is probably more acurate that Webalyzer. I'm hoping to start using it exclusively. But there will need to be an archive of some sort.

It looks as those this is configurable (at least from looking at a downloaded copy locally). I'd put in a ticket to see if this can be changed to allow for a dropdown to show, allowing for viewing of old stats.

I decided to use log files and run a program locally (Web Log Expert). That has been pretty good so far. However, I'd still like to have the option to see archived AWstats months like we can do now with Webalyzer.

I think it will start archiving from the time you switch to awstats. If you have old log files then you should be able to convert them to awstats too but if you don't have old logs there is no data to generate new awstats files.

Awstats doesn't really seem to work reliably. It had not worked for me for over a year, and Support got it started working. However, now it only has stats for November 18-20. There are some error messages at the top of the page:

Quote:

I'm beginning to think that it would be necessary to get an external service in order to get anything like reliable stats here.

I would put in a ticket with the information posted here. Hopefully they can get it working for you.
