Bad experience with DonHost

Hi !
As I say in the subject, we have had a really bad experience wirth our only 2 months with DonHost. We are acting as Privat Label Reseller and they have removed 3 accounts without prior notification. There was no ilegal things on them. Just, DonHost point-of-view, too loaded jpg files. I am now loosing my face to those clients...
I've just received an e-mail from Laurence and I appreciate his support.
What we need is to locate our existing accounts in DonHost to HostNexus including sub-domains. Need a reasonable bandwidth, reasonable Hard Disk space, Our Control Panel, client's Control Panel with our Brand name, commitment of NO removing accounts except for ilegal reasons, possibility to upgrade as we need more resources, running PHP and MySQL, etc. Good but not mandatory would be possiblity of naming our resellers too (resellers of a reseller). I would also like to have a chance to test the system prior of registering. Is it possible?
Thanks all for your time.
Pere

Hi,

Sorry to hear of your experiences with Donhst. They have a questionable reputation in this industry for the exact reasons that you stated.

I gather that you are interested in our VirtNex-2 plan. This plan comes with 2GB of space and 25GB of transfer. That's a plan with room to grow! If you reach your limits you can easily upgrade to the next plan or just buy more space and transfer.

You will get your own Client (Reseller) level control panel and the ability to create as many domains as your plan can hold. Plus, your clients will have their own control panel too. We will assign you your own nameservers to keep us totally transparent to your clients. We will never shut you down without extensive consultation first.

You are entitled to resell our reseller plans. We can't offer them to you at a discount, but for every VirtNex-1 you sell, we will give you an extra 500MB space and 1GB transfer. Plus you can set the price on the plans. Again, the reseller will never know of our existence.

Unfortunately we can't let you test run the system. The main reason being security. We have to quite careful about access. If someone is willing to financially commit to HostNexus then we are willing to grant access to our network.

Please browse the boards some more or ask questions in other forums like Open Discussion or General Support. I'm sure other members would give you honest opinions of our service.

Hi,

If you exceed your limits here then you get a friendly alert from Plesk. Then we consult with you to decide the best course of action.

laurence has always stated quite clearly that there would be no arbitrary deletion or denial .. the thread about "cgi abuse" shows the steps which are taken.
