Hi, you gotta me guys! Everything seems too good to me, except a few minor things to clear out: subdomains works through plesk control panel, right or you have wildcarded dns? Do you provide SSH access? Can subdomains have a dedicated ftp login?

Glad you liked what you saw! To answer your questions:

1. Subdomains are controlled through the Plesk Control Panel - no wildcards.

2. No, for security reasons we do not provide SSH or Telnet.

3. Yes, subdomains have their own individual FTP accounts.

Mike, according to the Plan Comparison page, accounts with a dedicated IP address *do* have Telnet/SSH capabilities.

I, for example, have a dedicated IP but have never bothered to try telnetting in - I haven't needed it - I now notice that it doesn't work.

Can you clarify this?

Hi,

It's only NexCorporate clients that get SSH. And that's only after a brief background check and only if requested. The nature of Plesk means that a client with Shell access has unrestricted access to the box.

Resellers may request SSH and it may be granted after a qualifying period, checks and references. I hope you can appreciate the lengths to which we go to protect the servers and our clients.
