Mailing lists

A small nonprofit I'm connected with hosts its Web site elsewhere, and pays $7.95/mo. and gets only 300 MB disk space. We're thinking of moving the domain. The hesitation I have with moving it to HostNexus is that we have some interactive mailing lists. My understanding is that HN has no arrangements for that. Is that correct?

You should be able to setup Mailman mailing lists from Plesk.

Under domain.com > Resource Usage first make sure you have a tleast one mailing list assigned. Then under teh Mail section of the domain you'll see Mailing Lists.

Thanks. The person who donates the hosting for that group has decided she wants to keep Cpanel, which will ease transition, but it's good to know that interactive mailing lists are possible here. I remember discussion a few years back which indicated it was not, and didn't know we now had it.

Mailman was introduced in Plesk 8 if memory serves me. Was never there before that but yep, a welcome addition now.
