Some basic questions before the jump

At the risk of sounding daft, I have a couple basic questions before jumping ship and coming to Nexus.

1.) I am looking at VirtNex-1, and currently have a half dozen domain names to myself, plus another handful that I manage for other people. Can I put these all on the VirtNex-1 plan for 24.95/month?

2.) I saw in another posting that each domain name has a seperate ftp site. With my current host, all secondary sites are subfolders within my primary site, I am just making sure I am clear that is not the case here.

3.) I couldn't find any info on the cost of a domain name/year, if anyone could help me there, I would appreciate it.

4.) I currently have all of my sites (about a dozen) on the same ip address. Can I continue to do that here?

5.) I have a handful of email accounts set up with my other hosting provider. Is there a graceful way to move them over, or do I loose any info sitting out there in my email accounts?

6.) What is the size limit per mailbox, and the total size limit for all mailboxes combined?

Again, I am sorry if these questions have already been answered, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

1) Yes
2) Separate ftp logins for each - they are all totally separate. (You can manage all under one account in the control panel, if required)
3) You can continue to use your current registrar. Or use NexusDomains from 8.95 (just requests a reseller account for NexusDomains when ordering)
4) Yes
5) It's possible... wouldn't say graceful. You essential connect using IMAP, download and then restore.
6) The same as your hosting limits. They count towards the hosting limit, so as long as you don't exceed them, you're fine.

I should add, you can set individual limits for mailbox total and/or individual mailboxes if you want.

Thanks Laurance

You should be hearing from me soon regarding transferring my domains over. I have high hopes that this company is as good as it sounds.

It definitely is as good as it sounds. I've been here over 5 years now. Switched here from another host that was less than helpful and the uptime was not nearly as good as here

Agree with Mike Man.

I've been here since 2002 too I think.

No complaints and that's odd because I'm old and a curmudgeon.

Welcome to HN
