Transferring from WindowsPlus to VirtNex-1

Already a WinPlus customer, but don't need ASP or .NET and it has been recommended to me by some people to switch. The extra space and bandwidth will come in handy as I expand one of my sites soon, but what other considerations does anyone else think I should bear in mind?

Also, how easy would it be to transfer all my domains across, complete with databases etc.

Any existing customers done something similar themselves?

If you don't need Windows technologies that I definitely recommend you switch to a Linux server. However, there is no easy way to migrate from Windows to Linux or vice versa. If you want to switch from Windows to Windows or Linux to Linux we can often do migrations using Plesk's in-built tools. But in cases such as yours, to make things a little easier we can set up a parallel account for you on the Linux server for free and give you a month to transfer everything over yourself. We can also help by zipping up data and putting in places for you to download and same for databases which we can restore.

Thanks Laurence. I think I will do it, and transferring things as you suggest is no big deal to me... I have plenty of time and the sites aren't that big yet. Should I just contact sales and make the request with them?
