SSL with subdomains

I am in the process of establishing a reseller account with HostNexus (does it always take so long? It has been well over 24 hours and no activation). I need to have an SSL. What I would like to do, and have done with other providers, is have one certificate for my base domain KWSLLC.net and then use that for other sites of mine.

Example:
I have installed an SSL certificate for KWSLLC.net. I host a site named MarketGourmet.com and it needs to have an HTTPS area. I create a subdomain called MarketGourmet.KWSLLC.net. Now when customers of MarketGourmet want to place their order they are redirected to HTTPS:\\MarketGourmet.KWSLLC.net.

Is this possible at HostNexus?

Activation - usually takes just a few hours. Probably too many Christmas issues.

As for the "shared-SSL" yes you can do this. HostNexus provide SSL certificates on alltheir servers, so you don't even need to buy your own. You get the "This certificate may not be valid" message (as you would for your method) but they work fine.

If, however, you've bought your own, you can install through the Plesk control panel

I do not remember seeing a new order for setup from you? Did you get setup ok? I do apologise for the confusion on our part - in order to allow our employees time with thier families, I have pretty much been by myself in management all week. Please let me know that you have been taken care of properly, and certainly if not, i will make it right!

Holidays

1) If I followed what I outlined instead of using your shared SSL, would people still get the warning message?

2) Your form allowed me to proceed without clicking on the payment selection. This should be highlighted since I suspect I am not the only one who has skipped right on by it. I also suspect that many people are in a hurry to get signed up since they are desperate to get off their current reseller provider.

3) The help line splash page should have been modified to say that the service desk was closed for the holidays and give the exact time it would be back.

4) I am looking forward to using HostNexus and especially the forum.

Unhappy Still not set up

OK, I got the PayPal receipt at 10:52am this morning and now it is 6:44pm and I still have not heard from you guys about logging in, etc.

Some mess up with the email notification but everything is fine now. I am busy as a one-armed paper hanger setting up my base site and migrating customers.
