Migrating DNS Domain

I am a refugee from the Jatol.com collapse. I've started the process of establishing an account here at HostNexus.

I am unsure, however, of what steps I need to take to move my domain name to the new IP. When I registered my domain (www.messofthedamned.org) I did it all through Jatol. My WHOIS record shows Jatol as the authoritative DNS servers.

I'll need to swap that authority over to HostNexus - presumably - so the domain points to whatever new IP address I am assigned. Any ideas what information will be required and what steps I'll need to take?

Thanks.

You'll get all that information when you sign up. You need to have access to your domain registrar (in your case that's OnlineNIC - www.onlinenic.com) and change over the nameservers.

So long as your e-mail is correct, you should get access to the control panel and from there it's usually pretty simple.
