Move from Reseller plan to Dedicated Server

Sometime this year I may be moving from my reseller package to one of the larger dedicated server packages.

If I do, what kind of assistance will HostNexus offer to move everything, if any?

Will you migrate a few Joomla installations? Gallery 2.x installations? Or is this something that I will need to handle myself?

I believe that support would be willing to assist you with the move when the time comes. Just make sure to make note when you get the ded server to tell them you want the stuff moved over

Moving sites from one server to another is something the admins are used to. They do it
- when ungrading entire computers due to old hardware
- when upgrading accounts to dedicated servers
- when moving users from one server to another by request.

When you order, just e-mail this as part of the request. You'll need to factor in a few days, but otherwise you just sit back. As a tip, you may have a few directory permissions to sort out afterwards (so take a note of those).

That is really great to hear. The migration itself is probably the biggest thing keeping me from changing plans. This will make the decision to upgrade a whole lot easier.

I have climbed the ladder here, from the starter pack to now having a dedicated..

They pretty much take care of the dedicated server like you are used to with your reseller.. They can help you out etc... You have more access, but if you need help they are really good..

So don't be scared by any means.. They will move everything and also will provide the same support you had with reseller.
