Reseller account issues

I have a reseller account on 'Fermion' (sp?), and am having some issues.

I've currently set up 7 domains on my account, each meant to be separate websites. They each have their own separate folder for files, etc.

However, on one of my domains, if I go to https://www.domain.com/ it instead goes to the homepage of a different domain on my account... however the http://www.domain.com/ address works fine for me.

What's going on??

It doesn't go to the https folder? By default, http and https files are stored in two directories - so if you ask for https then it reads the httpsdocs directory.

Either:
a) put something in the httpsdocs directory (that redirects back to http?)
b) In Plesk, tell SLL to use the same directory as normal http.

that's the problem.. it doesn't go to the proper domain's httpsdocs directory; it goes to an entirely different domain's httpsdocs directory. For no apparent reason. something's messed up... isn't there any way that I can just see my entire directory structure as a whole, instead of looking at it one domain at a time?

If the domains are on the same IP then SSL works for the first domain listed on that IP in IIS. If you need SSL on a domain it needs to be unique on an IP. Also try disabling SSL for the domains that don't need it via the check box in their respective "Setup" sections in PLesk.

oh.. i guess that makes sense..

One other quick question:
I recently put up my own placeholder page for a client at www.chimerareit.com . I had already set the nameservers last week, so the DNS info definitely was finished propagating and everything.

However, after putting up my placeholder page, I was able to see it properly, but my client just kept seeing the 'default PLESK page' (which I had entirely deleted, and replaced). I also had a friend try it from another state, and it worked properly for him, but then I logged onto my VZAccess (different ISP) and it showed me the default PLESK page (the one that no longer should have existed because I deleted it)

It was acting just like a DNS change that hadn't fully propagated, however the DNS definitely had nothing to do with it. Everyone was connecting to the same server, but sometimes they were getting served an out-of-date page that had been deleted.

This also happened on another site of mine (try http://www.mexicoreefs.com/concept1.jpg).. sometimes it showed up, and sometimes it said it didn't exist.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Brett

The first one sounds like a cache problem. The ISP might have a cache as well as the local computer. You need to clear both.

Image sometimes not appearing sounds like an old IE bug. Sometimes they were there, and sometimes they weren't. I don't recall ever finding a solution for it, but the problem went away, presumably after a Windows Update.

Try http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/redx.htm for a few hints.

I saw a few discrepancies in the dns file for mexico reefs that might cause issues so I fixed that. The image didn't show for me before but now it does so I think that fixed it.
