Plesk Q: Domain User

In the account activation email it states:

"For a new client you must always set up a "Domain User". This will give your client access to his control panel. The client logs in with the name of his domain and the password you allocate in "Domain User". "

If I want to control client settings, is this a "must" or just necessary if a client wants some control? What kind of control does the client have if this is activated?

Thanks,

TWST

Hi,

Well, if you want your client to have a control to control their email etc then you should give them access via Domain User. Best thing to do if you're not sure is to try it out. Assign a domain user and sign in as that and look around.
