Question On/Off Switch - Different domain served when off???

I disabled a domain in PLESK and when I went to the site to see what message (if any) was displayed one of my other sites (on the same server) was served and displayed in my browser.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I do not want domain name A to be indexed yet - and certainly not with the content from domain name B.

Any help would be appreciated. (Server Name: TAURUS)

Thanks!

Most likely there is a default domain set in Plesk for the IP address set for the domain.

Find IP Address
To find the IP address for the domain, log into Plesk and click Home on the left. Click the domain name on the right. Next to the title for the Hosting section in the right frame you should see "Domain has physical hosting on IP {ip address}. Take note of this and click Home again in the left frame.

Check Default Domain
Now back at the main page of Plesk, click IP Pool. Click the number (under hosting column) for the IP address from above. If a domain appears with bold with the radio button in front of it filled it, you have a default domain set for that IP address.

Clearing the default domain
The way I do this is by click the domain from the home page. Click Setup, select a different IP address and click OK. Then I repeat the process, selecting the original IP address and clicking OK.

Hope this helps!

I had dealt with this before myself and remembered what I had to do to correct the issue. Not bad for relying on my memory. Glad it was helpful!
