All you need to do is ask.
https://yourdomain.com:8443
That should have appeared in your welcome e-mail as well.

You will also find all of this information in the welcme email we sent you when setting up your account. There are actually several ways to access your control panel.

There used to be an alternate way when you were on a configuration where 8443 is blocked. That way no longer works. Is there a new alternative?

Not at the moment but I'm sure it can be opened up again if really needed. It's just a bit of work.

I've tried https://yourdomain.com:8443 with both IE and Firefox, with and without "www" and all I get is security warnings. Should I ignore them and just forge ahead?
Like the OP (but without the '***') I'm also having some frustration in finding anything like "my account" or any other way to get to my own "stuff". I've tried the knowledge base but didn't find any help there. What am I missing?

https://yourdomain.com:8443 works. Just ignore teh security errors as they are generated by the self-signed certificate installed on Plesk. Self-signed certs are still 100% safe ande encrypt data.

Thanks! I was still having trouble getting my ftp program to upload and was halfway through a post asking for more help when I thought of one more thing to try - and it worked! I should be okay now. I'm working on my websites constantly, but it had been about 6 years since I started a new one, so I basically had to learn things all over again.

Firefox treats this as a very major security breach and sends messages that basically imply the world will end if you accept the certificate. I know that's not the case, but it is really scary to go ahead and enter Plesk under the circumstances. Really need to find some way to address this problem.
