WordPress requirements
I'm thinking of blogging more. Isn't everyone? I'd want to add it to my site and want to use WordPress.
Word Press says your server must be able to support
* PHP version 4.2 or greater
* MySQL version 4.0 or greater
and an Apache server.
Does my account come with these things?

We have PHP 4.4.6., MySQL 4.1.20, GD 2.0.28 (and use Apache)
but have a look in your plesk and see if your plan supports it

It doesn't seem like I can. I can't have a database or even a subdomain. What do I do to have these?
No mention of PHP and MySQL

Just checked my archived emails. Yes I have Nex Starter. Maybe I'll stick with blogger.com for now.

Hi Jen,
If you are at all interested in upgrading, just email us at sales@hostnexus.com. You might be surprised at the low cost, as our upgrade formula takes into effect how much you have already paid into your current plan, etc.

You could add a MySQL database for $10/year and a subdomain for $1/month. But for a little more, you could change to NexPersonal and get even more. Pricing is designed to encourage you to select a plan that in itself will give you what you need, rather than piecemeal it to add capabilities your current plan does not have.

Thanks Bill and Mike,
I have decided to put off installing WordPress for the time being. But when I do I'll just go up to NexPersonal.

But isn't WordPress done on their site, not on your own?
