Anti-virus for a new computer

I am using AVG right now but was wondering about looking at something else. I would like to try something new out on my old machine before I get a new one. I have never had a virus (knock wood). Has anyone tried "Avast"? Have any recommendations?

I use ZoneAlarm AntiVirus. Includes the firewall and it's an on-access scanner. Highly recommended and pretty cheap '$30 I believe).

Thanks, Laurence, I will look at that one. For some reason it wasn't even on my list. I use their firewall but forgot that they offered anti-virus.

I've been using Avira for a year now and have been pretty happy with it. They also had a licence option that covered 3 computers that worked well for me.
