Thank you all for your continued support throughout 2004 and we look forward to serving your needs in 2005. This past year has been truly incredible for HostNexus with the launch of major new services such as Windows and ColdFusion. Our Linux service continues to grow and improve to make HN undoubtedly the industry leader in Plesk hosting!We have gone through a major data center move and also a major change in the way email is handled via our uinique MailShield configuration and custom SpamAssassin Plesk integration. We will be starting off 2005 on a high note with the imminent release of two features:
1) Remote Backup Server. Our data center is building us a dual processor machine with 1 x 120gb and 4 x 250gb SATA drives in a RAID 5 array which we will use as a remote backup server. This huge server will ensure your data is backed up to a remote location almost instantly after new data is uploaded or existing files are changed! Another huge plus is the load offset from all servers. No more enduring a few hours of server slowness whilst the backup runs.
2) Plesk Statistical Usage script. We have been working on a replacement for the popular Matrix Usage script that resellers used to rely on for extra stats about their client's domains. The author gave up development on that particular script after Plesk 5 so we have developed something bigger and better. The new Usage Monitor will show you mailbox usage so you can determine who is using up all the space on a domain. It will also give a breakdown on directory sizes, individual database usage and many other things.
Both of these new features will be launched in January so watch out for the announcement on those.
