Just thought I'd let everyone know about a few things that have been happening around HostNexus lately.
1) In 24 hours, we will be upgrading servers Alpha to Kappa to Plesk 7.02. This version contains many small bug fixes and security updates that really need to be applied. Unlike the upgrade from 6 to 7, it does not reset permissions so we don't forsee any problems. There will be around 30 minutes downtime experienced for this upgrade.
2) We have completed most of the kernel upgrades. All Linux 7.3/9 servers are now up to date with the latest 2.4.26-owl kernel (with security patching).
3) You can now login to Plesk from behind a firewall that restricts high ports like 8443. Some people at work access the net via a local network with such restrictions so if you are in that position, login to your server with these easy to remember URLs:
https://alpha.hostnexus.com
https://beta.hostnexus.com
https://gamma.hostnexus.com
https://delta.hostnexus.com
https://epsilon.hostnexus.com
https://eta.hostnexus.com

4) For clients who's ISP block port 25 (SMTP), we have opened up SMTP on port 26. So if your ISP forces you to use their mail server, you can configure Outlook to use port 26 and you can now use our servers to send mail.
5) In a few weeks, HostNexus will be launching a ColdFusion service. If you are interested in ColdFusion and our plans for the service, don't hesitate to contact sales or post in the pre-sales forum at NexusPortal.
6) The multi-server login script on the HostNexus website has been fixed. So if you can't remember how to get to Plesk, just login here:

7) The long-awaited
ResellerNexus service should be live in about a week!
