I'm sure you have noticed sporadic MySQL everywhere today, including this forum. We have done some experimenting with changing the server name from Hostnexus.com at the bequest of resellers who informed us that our name was too visible.

It wasn't easy but the operation was successful and we will be doing the same on Beta soon. We learned alot doing this and don't expect the same amount of errors next time.

In line with the secure access URL for Plesk, the server is now visible by reverse lookup as server1.control-access.com.

Really appreciate you doing this. As info, a service scan on any of my domains yields

Yep, this is the only remaining HN mark. And not as easy to remove. But we will work on it.

I was in the middle of this forum and popped up to answer the cat scratching at the door to come in

when I came back ....

my first thought is always "what have I been doing ?"

pleased to find it wasn't some snafu on my end but Nexus working for our benefit

you certainly go out of your way to please your customers here

Well, there's only so much we can do. We have pushed it to the limit now. I think you'll find that the new measures we've implemented are more than enough.

I'm not complaining--it is much appreciated. If Sherlock Holmes tries to uncover us, we're toast. But otherwise we're in good shape.
