SSL i think, and you get a premade shopping cart system with pay facilities, and also a number of different Database support...

this might sound a bit too much, but come think of it, everything with NexBusiness should be able to give someone the opportunity to build their own webshop... but i think the e-commerce has bigger MB space, and all that other good support stuff...

Basically, ecommerce is exactly like having a shop in the high street, but having it on the net. So it will include a cart but that's not ecommerce. It's a complete system that handles ordering, billing, accounting, inventory, tracking, client management and a few other things.

You could do it all yourself by gathering a lot of scripts together and having multiple databases but the idea is to have it in one easy to use interface. Kind of like interchange but biger and simpler.

Thats sounds great! When will ecommerce options be available? Any idea about fees, or will they be included in some plans?

They will be separate plans. The industry top dog in ecommerce is Miva. However, it costs $495 for the software. The product we will be promoting is the same as Miva but, ahem, cheaper.

you might need to think about foreign exhange rates when it comes to money.... since you guys have customers around the world.... what determines the exchange rate? Also, you gotta make sure that it supports the Australian version of GST!

It should be good to have actually, hhhmmmm imagine the possibilities.... i could sell businesses shirts and stuffs like that.... woooooooo, even w.a.n.k.y mouse pads that have my logo... it would be good if HN can somehow get a printing press affiliate....

maybe they can host a single seperate e-commerce hosting, the only real difference will be the billing side of things... this needs to be more flexible when it comes to foreign exchange, and taxes like the GST... Also, it would be nice if HN can also do the shipping and handling...
