Your Server name in your SupportDesk profile!!

Please make sure that you insert your correct server name into your profile. As of now, 80% of users have nothing and half of the 20% that have are wrong.

Please help us to help you quicker by noting your server name. As HostNexus grows and adds more and more servers, its getting increasing difficult to know who is on which server.

From now on, tickets with no server name will be dealt with last. If you don't know which server you are on, please check your Activation email. If you no longer have that, submit a ticket called Server Name Request and provide your name as it appears in Plesk, your primary domain name, your plan and the date you joined HN.

Your co-operation is appreciated!

Where would this information go? I don't see anything for a server name, only a domain name

Inside your "user cp", "edit profile", "additional information", there's the server field...

I think Laurence is refering to the Support Desk information (troble ticket system). Under Additional Support Ticket Details (optional), specify your server name whenever you submit a ticket.

Oh ya.

Yep. That's another place where such information should be specified, and I did...

Is there anyway to keep from having to re-enter my server name with every support ticket?

The information seems to be there after the first time I enter the server name. Perhaps it's kept in a cookie or in the database? Just a wild guess.
