Thank you all for the warm welcome.

Rest assured, I'm here to stay and will take great care of support teams here at SimpliQ Europe.

Even b4 the introduction of Lorand i think the hostnexus team was and still is awesome .. helpful and ready to payback when things go wrong ... i a perfect world we would expect hostnexus to not make Miss Takes, but in this less than perfect world i am glad they are only human and that they strive for perfection ...
i have had problems b4 but were resolved professionally, yes sometimes my clients wanted to leave because of downtime sufferred but they have not because of our friendly and personal service ...

i noticed you are only registered since sep '06 ... where have you been ... this forum in itself is a great resource to have issues resolved ...

I have been around for what, 3 years now. I went from their smallest hosting package to a dedicated server now.

I've seen them grow. With any good company, it's tough to control growth, and maintain the same level of service. Especially since you can't clone anyone, yet.

With that being said, I was here for the datacenter change. That was a good move, and like many changes, they have always been in favor of the customer.

The recent changes at the data center were a from HN growing too big. Not something HN truely had any control over. They still don't other than to throw "their" customer weight around. So they are having the datacenter fix the problem they sort of let go. It's just a problem of over growing.

HN has identidified the problem, and are having it fixed.

Now everyone gets frustrated with them, however even I need to realize that even though they may not help us out with in an hour, they do provide good service.

The one thing I can say, I've heard of some pretty bad horror stories with other hosts. I mean, at least we are talking to the people face to face. They have a personality. With bigger companies, you may never talk to the same person twice, not like you'd know it.

I've had my share of bad hosts. That's why I don't mind paying more for HN.

This host is almost like a family. They don't have a business face to them. Laurence has always worked with his customers, and has done a GREAT job of accomodating them.

I can say with HN, with them installing the newest apps, it sure beats being stuck on older ones, while others are enjoying the new features etc.

Anyway, I've stole the thunder from this thread long enough.

Welcome Lorand!!!!

Well, for people who have websites, who are still growing, and are turning a corner, it's frustrating at times, but in the bigger picture, it's great here!!

I'm just glad you guys are so socialible.

Shame on me. I totally overlooked that question.

Ah, the good ol' quiet days. BluGuy was my first true brainchild, had a huge success shortly after it was launched.

Quite frankly, it was a victim of it's own success and thus had to be sold, as managing it only with a handful of dedicated people was a pain after a while.

The little blue guy is still around, just not the "popular guy is school" anymore

Blueguy was a brilliant piece of creative thinking, simple yet compelling

I'm aware you have other qualities and experience but I really appreciate your vision on branding
