That's the point! No one of my client actually need 5Gb, 1Gb, 500Mb or even 50 Megs! But marketing reality says that people are buying most of all those 5Gb and larger accounts. Yes I may explain face-to-face to client that I'm selling reliable server, stability and support. But if i'm selling over internet - noone care to read about stability. Plus, this is not actually my server, and I cannot convince client that he's paying for small space but good service, as I can not really guaranty to my client that everything will be 100% fine - no downtime, no issues (which actually are sometimes on my Lepton server, yes they are got solved, and support is good at HN, but I know another company that gives away 24Gigs of space with same good support for less money than I'm paying for 2Gigs here, stable and powerful servers there, too bad that aren't offering windows hosting)
Please HN guys, help us, dinosours, survive
Again, in wery most cases large ammounts is just a marketing tool.
In my country almost all hosting companys give away even unlimited traffic!
