Check on index if he has visited recently. Sometimes, he does take time away so maybe he hasn't seen you posts.

John,

The main boffins don't visit the forum everyday - It's one of those annoying facts of life, but if the support guys are busy making things work and keeping the ship tight, then there is less time for the forum. So their silence is usually a good thing as they're busy <grin> and that's what we're paying them for!

The forum is a place for the customers to share problems and solutions, whilst the ticket system is the primary method of support, and sales@ the primary method for questions from new customers.

Drop an e-mail to sales@ and you'll get a response very quickly, I'm sure <grin>

Hi John, apologies for my absense. The new racks are ready and now we are discussing how and when to do this. The DC now want to move all servers in one go but I want to move in batches so we need to figure this out. When this happen, don't worry - there will be an announcement.

Laurence,
I want to say thanks for making my sever (dedicated managed server) experience as best it can be by putting the effort and buck$ into a new rack system for me and the clients I serve.

I understand that there is NO part of this procedure that effects 1 and only 1 client of yours. I know that you have to be careful and calculating in whatever you plan because even if 1 managed server goes down, you are going to hear about it, especially if it is mine (lol). But if it happens to be a shared server! Hundreds of Clients and their clients are effected.

I was at one of the big chain stores here in the US the a few days ago and I witnessed a child, probably about 11 years old ranting and raving to his mother that he wanted a PS3. When mom told him they were sold out becuase there were only a few to begin with, he went nuts. "I don't care, I want this, and I want that!" When she told hom they would get one right after Christmas, he got worse. "I want it now....wah wah wah"

Sound Familiar?

I have been in business for a little while and I have found if anything, this is true. You can always tell how you are doing, by the number of genuine complaints you have. As I look through this thread...you need not worry!

Thanks again.

Mark
