Hello,

As it turns out, LEPTON was sicker than we had originally anticipated. The hack we cleaned up last week appears to have left damage in more than just the OS. There was many issues when copying files over. Due to this, the datacenter has replaced one of the drives and is moving the files over.

NOBODY SHOULD LOOSE ANY DATA!

Unfortunately, this is taking a great deal of time due to the number of files and size. There is nothing that we can do about this, except let the datacenter finish. I am afraid this will take several more hours. We are hopefully looking at midnight, USA eastern time.

This happened because someone at the datacenter dropped the ball and did several things on thier own - without consulting us and ignoring what we were telling them to do. Please rest assured that we are dealing with this outrageous behavior with the proper management personnel at the datacenter. We are absolutely furious over all of this and obviously as frustrated as you must be.

The minute we know anymore, or if anything changes, we will notify you.

Regards,

Yes this is a good question McKenzie. I'm signing off for tonight and I am praying that when I log on tomorrow morning we will be up. If we're not I guess I start looking for another host.

i'm sitting here crossing my fingers as well. Can;t imagine another day like today.... Seems like there was WAY enough time to get another machine in place by now if the orig LEPTON is toast.

700am US Eastern time and already my phone has started ringing again.

Can we please have a resolution on this. Seems to me they could have time to replace everything with a new server and replace our data. Way to long for sites to be down.

I need this resolved very quickly............. I am going to be forced to find another solution. I am loosing new business and current clients.....

Thanks,

McKenzie

Agreed... I am getting serious heat from clients to find another solution. Clients don't understand downtime when they are paying for a service.

Plus i don't understand with how cheap hardware is at this point how one server going down can completely shut down this many clients. Have we never heard of clustering and backups or Failover???

Please get this up ASAP or i will have to go somewhere else.
