Question New to osCommerce->Help

Can anyone point me in the right direction for using osCommerce? I have installed it on my domain using Plesk, but I don't have any idea where to go from there. When I attempt to access any osCommerce page I get an IISpassword error page.

I have accessed the DB WebAdmin page, but I am on an extremely slow dial up connection (26.6k) and unable to spend time browsing around to find the answer.

Note: I configured a dbase user during installation, but I am not sure what to do with it.

Unfortunately I don't know anything about PHP. However, I do know html, asp, asp.net, and java/java script. I also know sql, but am very rusty.

Thanks,
Travis

Hey, it appears there was a little hiccup during the online installation of my osCommerce. Everything seems to be working great now. (I am more impressed with Hostnexus everyday. Their customer service and quick support is awesome. Woohooo, thanks Vipin.)

However, if anyone has any great words of wisdom for this complete osCommerce newbie, feel free to advise.

Thanks,
Travis

osCommerce Words of Wisdom

Here are some very helpful sites when using osCommerce, which, by the way, is a great system.

http://www.oscdox.com/ - third party osC documentation

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions - before getting into the programming code, see if someone has already built an add-on to address what needs doing. There are quite a few.

http://www.oscommerce.info/ - a mother of a FAQ.

Good luck.

Another very helpful site to add to this list is:

http://www.creloaded.com
They have different loaded versions of oscommerce with tons of features and contributions included.

Best,
