Question Transferring PayPal receipts to bank

I'm with a nonprofit that accepts donations by PayPal. We've had a lot of turnover in the last year or so. Dealing with this has now moved to me. The funds have simply been piling up in our PayPal account for quite awhile.

I would like to move funds to our bank account of record. I can find no instructions at the PayPal site on how to do that. The only thing I can find that is related is a FAQ Q&A which says there are no PayPal fees for doing it.

I have sent a Tech Support inquiry, but have been waiting for a response and not received even an acknowledgment that it has been received. Can someone here tell me how to do it?

The organization is in debt, and it would really be great to be able to use these funds towards our debts.

When you log in, you get two sets of tabs on hte top of the page. If the first tab is set to "account" then along the second tab you get "withdraw".

If you don't have the withdraw tab, then go to profile (also in that second tab), hit "Bank Accounts" and then you get the option to add a bank account. You will then use this to transfer funds out.

It was relatively easy to set up, from memory.

Note: those instructions apply to a "business" account; if you're on a personal account then it may be different.

But the withdraw requires you to accept one of two options, both of which are to purchase something. I don't want to purchase anything, just transfer the funds. Withdraw doesn't seem to be set up to do that.

That sounds like you are hitting the Send Money tab not the Withdraw tab.

When you click the Withdraw Tab, you should see two options for withdrawing: Transfer Funds to Your Bank Account and Request a Check from PayPal (which costs $1.50). These options are available to all users, business and free.

For the FAQ showing this info look under the Withdrawing Funds category, eighth question down.

same for a Personal account. Curiously I have just transferred money over to my bank from paypal, took me perhaps 2 minutes after login. Paypal just needs your verified bank account details which should already be in your profile.

OK, that's how it is working now. I don't believe our account was working that way when I posed the question. I was able to transfer $500, the monthly limit which is a problem because funds have accumulated and our bills generally can not be paid by PayPal.

If you have the business account, you could get the PayPal Debit card to use for any bills that take Mastercard. I use mine that way to pay hosting bills and stuff.
