Affordable SSL Certification is now available to web hosting reseller and ecommerce clients at Host Nexus

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) - the easily implemented standard protocol for transaction security - is an encrypted link between your Server and your Customer's browser. Once the link is established all communication between your Server and your Customer's browser will remain confidential.

"Private branding is essential for web hosting resellers," says company Technical Director, Laurence Flynn. "Even though Host Nexus does offer free shared SSL, a reseller may choose to use their own certificate to ensure anonymity. By offering our own nexSSL certificates, we can reduce the costs to reseller and ecommerce clients while maintaining the same level of security offered by more expensive certificates."

NexSSL, the privately branded certifications, cost a fraction of the cost of Thawte or Verisign certificates. Another huge plus is the verification process for Host Nexus clients, which assures that the majority of certificates can be issued instantly, without the need to compromise the level of validation. The result, says Flynn, is a quickly issued yet trusted certificate that does not undermine consumer confidence with the SSL protocol.
