Every day Muon’s /home partition is going into read-only mode due to problems with the file system. We are doing another fsck on it now but it is looking increasingly like we will need to do a hard drive replacement for this server. So sites are down while this current fsck is taking place. My apologies for the inconvenience.
UPDATE: Muon did recover after the latest file system check. If the partition goes into read-only mode again we will be replacing the primary drive.
UPDATE (March 26th): Bad news I’m afraid. The primary drive has partitions in read-only mode yet again. We are going to try one more thing and if it isn’t fixed tomorrow we will be doing a primary drive replacement and data restore that will take around 4 hours downtime so prepare yourselves for that just in case.
UPDATE (April 2nd): Server is fine now. Drive looks in good shape.

Please can we have a time this note was published (and a time zone).
What is the estimated downtime?

Not sure why the blog doesn’t publish the exact time. I’ll check with the theme developer for that.
I did also post in the forum and send a notice via Muon’s mail list so the bases were covered.
Muon is back but the server is sick. We are debating over a course of action.
